I watched the Sweetest Thing on Sunday with my mom. Never gets old. That's the explanation for my title. And it's sort of 70s slang too, right? If so, it's fitting with today's outfit.

This vest. After visiting Nordstrom a few times in one week just to go stare at this vest, I finally bought it. And I have to say it is one of the best purchases I've made, simply because this vest is an outfit-changer. Even more-so, a game-changer. It changes any outfit from drab to glam. I've worn it with dresses, high-waisted shorts, skirts. You name it.

And these jeans. They're stretchy. They make me look tall. They're high-waisted with that 70s flare I love. Best find at Nordstrom Rack. That's all.

My brother graduates from ASU tomorrow! Major nostalgia thinking about my college days and graduation over a year ago at the good ole University of Arizona. I seriously miss it. I have to be accountable now? What is that? Ughhhh. Congrats to all you grads out there!

I will say the great thing about post-grad life, is having $$$. I'm in the process of getting Vegas-ready for Memorial Day Weekend, and I'm quite excited about some fun Nasty Gal and ASOS pieces that will make their debut on the blog soon... The weekend is finally here! For some reason this week was progressing at the momentum of molasses. Now I just need to get through these next six hours. Then...Happy Hour (an event like this certainly deserves to be capitalized).

If I could live in an outfit like this, I would. Statement booties and a statement necklace, paired with borderline pajamas = unstoppable. Because I'm still freaking out over how I acquired these booties, I am going to tell you about it. I experienced this amazing online sale at Vandevort (a small boutique with big aspirations in Del Mar, California) - 75% off promo code. I snagged up two pairs of Dolce Vita booties, a pair of Dolce Vita sandals, a pair of Dolce Vita heels and a pair of Report flats for a grand total of $172 and some odd cents. The original total, before I entered the promo code, was a whopping $770!! I saved over 500 bucks. Keep this place in mind... to top it all off, the gorgeous owner was a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding. Small world!
